McIntosh Apples

Sweet with a tart tang and very juicy - this exceptionally round apple is very common in parts of the Northeastern United States. This bright red and green apple is one of the most aromatic apple varieties. The McIntosh is rarely used for baking as it does not hold its shape well, but it makes excellent applesauce when combined with other varieties.
