D'Anjou Pears

The Anjou is an all-purpose pear whose dense flesh makes it excellent for snacking, cooking, and slicing fresh into salads. Its skin color remains green even as it ripens. The Anjou has a dense flesh that is mildly sweet. This pear holds up very well in cooking while it also eats well sliced or out of hand.
