Butternut Squash

Butternut squash have a bright orange-yellow flesh with a relatively sweet taste. This variety is very popular because it's so easy to use. Their flavor is sweet, moist, and pleasantly nutty. Many consider the butternut variety the most flavorful of all winter squashes. This delicious squash is a pleasure pureed in soups, roasted with various spices as a side dish, or roasted and added to salads.
